Mission
Statement |
To develop a sense of professional and community awareness of the
status of eye/vision health nationally, with a special emphasis
on minority communities, and to make known the impact of eye/vision
dysfunction on the health and productivity of our citizens and on
the academic proficiency of our students. |
"As incoming President of the NOSA at UHCO, I look forward to accomplishing the mission and goals shared by the NOA and the NOSA. At UHCO, I look forward to working with fellow officers and members to enhance the delivery of vision care services to the community through vision screenings and volunteer activities. Additionally, I look forward to NOSA’s involvement in recruiting, encouraging, and educating minority students about opportunities regarding the delivery of vision care through optometry. Our chapter enthusiastically looks towards the many NOSA sponsored activities and events in the coming year!
